Green with Waterborne
The employees and management of McDaniel Paint
& Body Shop would like to thank you for partnering with us in our mission
to improve the environment. We have made the conscious and strategic decision
to invest our resources to convert our operations to the exclusive use of
waterborne color. We are proud to be among a very select group of collisions
centers around the country who have chosen to go “green”. At McDaniel
Paint & Body Shop our goal is to make a positive difference for both you
and the environment.
Why is this important to
us?
It’s up to everyone to contribute in helping the environment.
And we’re doing what we can to lead the way. What does our use of
waterborne mean to you? It means an 80% reduction in volatile organic compound
(VOC) emissions from our basecoat color. That translates into fewer emissions
into the atmosphere and better air quality for us all. We believe it’s
time for each of us to begin making wise decisions with respect to preserving

 Color Match
We know you want the paint color of your
repair to match the rest of your car. We do too. 70% of the colors used by auto
manufacturers today are waterborne. So now we’re using what they’re
using, which enables us to offer you the most accurate color match
available.
 Durability
We won’t get into all the
details of how waterborne works, but the advantage is really in the high tech
nature of the pigments that are used. The waterborne basecoat combined with
clearcoat makes the paint much more durable and resistant to general wear &
tear from the elements.
Auto
Painting
Automotive painting and refinishing is truly an art.
Properly matching the high tech finishes found on many of today's vehicles
requires trained expertise in application techniques. Our painters combine the
latest techniques with the keen eye of an artist to create "never been damaged"
quality finishes. It is our policy to take every precaution to insure
the final finish matches your original paint in both appearance and quality --
to protect and preserve the value of your vehicle. Our automotive section is
equipped with a spraybooth and bake oven configuration. This dust-free facility
enables us to prepare and refinish your cars quickly and to ensure a long
lasting repair. We can mix over 65,000 car colors from straight solid to clear
over base metallics and pearlescent micas on our PPG paint mixing
machine. With the use of an advanced identification system, we will ensure
accurate color matching on all makes of cars.
Estimating
At McDaniel Paint & Body Shop
we make every
 effort to prepare a correct estimate the first time, occasionally
this requires minor disassembly of damaged areas to get a closer look at the
"not so obvious" that often happens in an accident. An in-depth estimate helps
us and the insurance company insure a smooth flow of the repair process. Our
estimate center is open Mon. - Fri. 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Our estimate center
enables our estimators to bring your vehicle in out of the weather, to get the
quality estimate our customers deserve. Our estimate center is equipped with a
hydraulic lift so that we can lift your vehicle to look for hidden damages in
the under body and frame.
Collision
Repair

 requires more expert knowledge and specialized equipment than years
past. From major collision damage to minor dings, our skilled personnel have
the experience, knowledge, and proper equipment to expertly restore your
vehicle to pre-crash condition. Every procedure, from realigning unibody
components to installing decorative trim, must meet our demanding high
standards of quality. Our state-of-the-art repair techniques assure that you
receive the highest quality of body work.
